OUR STORY STARTS AND FINISHES WITH LOCAL
White’s Supa IGA Baringa opened in 2019 to service the growing needs of the bustling Aura community. Baringa is the fifth White’s IGA store to open its doors, and local residents, workers, and an expanded list of Sunshine Coast producers have been warmly welcomed into the White’s IGA family.

WHO ARE WE?
MEET ROZ AND MICHAEL WHITE
White’s IGA owners, Michael & Roz White, commenced their retailing journey on the Sunshine Coast with the purchase of a small convenience store in Maroochydore in October 1993.
There began the humble beginnings of White’s Grocers. Since this time, the business has grown from one store with three staff to five bustling stores located across the Sunshine Coast.

The team at White’s Supa IGA Baringa are a hard-working bunch with knowledge of all things fresh and local.
Led by our Store Manager, Lauri, the team includes in-store butchers to freshly prepare your meat, produce gurus to help you discover the best of the season, an expert barista and in-store café team, and a deli crew that knows more than a thing or two about antipasto.

Locally-sourced food travels from farm to plate as quickly as possible and provides a quality freshness that nourishes kinfolk and community.

A Locavore is a person who chooses to consume food that is grown, raised, or produced locally, usually within 200 kilometres from home. A Locavore connects food consumers with the food producers within a small targeted radius, developing better food networks, improving local economies and enriching health, environmental, community and social impacts.
We love to source locally grown and produced products whenever we can. We strongly believe in supporting the local community that supports us. This allows us to provide jobs and support our local community, organisations and charities.
